Whenever I was hungry
you'd give me bread
I asked for water
but you gave me a fountain instead

And whenever I fell sick
you turned my healer
whenever I was emotionally paralyzed
or at my lowest low
still I could still feel ya, standing close

you've always stuck by my side
whenever I needed you, you arrived

Whenever I'd be tired
you'd give me rest
I'm aware you're a very busy guy
yet you try by all means to put me first

Whenever I faced obstacles
that chained me in fear
you were always there
always there with me standing near

So thank you Father
for who you are
and all you've done
you truly are
my superstar
my number 1
