Thankful Poem by Lawerence Mize, Sr.

Thankful

It was great today
When the kids came around
Pulling out toys
Making happy sounds

Mom, Mom, 'where's Poppy? '
I heard them say
They headed for the basement
To run and play

I enjoy the time
Spent with the boys
And Jordyn's so special
She's a real joy

So thank you Lord
For the wonderful gift
It warmed my heart
Gave me a much needed lift
