Stupid.
Lousy.
Pathetic.
Me
These words
Your words play like a stupid
Broken record
I thought of all people
You
Would care
You told me you cared
But when you can't even look away from the TV
And just look at me
Or give me one minute of attention
To tell me you care
How will I believe you?
So much for friendship
So much for trust
So much for
LOVE
But through you
I now know
Who is real
Who will catch me when I fall
And who pushed me
I know who
Will sing me to sleep
And who
Is the one giving me nightmares
I know who
Won't do nothing when they see me in pain
They aren't scared of being dragged down
And who
Is the one watching me suffer
And doing NOTHING at all
So thanks for the memories
Thanks for the friendship
Thanks for the good times we've had
