That Day Poem by Nomad Omnia

That Day

Rating: 3.5

Stepping out of time, it seemed,
The scene I saw was one I dreamed,
Or else some sacred, hidden key
Released a treasured memory.
Your voice, your hair, your eyes, awoke
Me from a troubled sleep and spoke
To me in words I could not hear,
But felt inside. I drew you near.
For in a distant time, I know,
You and I have shared one love. So
tightly held, my heart cries out:
Recalling you. Dispelling doubt.

i'm usually not one for love poems.. but this one drew me in because it seemed to have an honest way about it that many poems on love lack.. once again your poems have put me into thought and have drawn me in =)

This feels timeless and the way you used rhyming just adds to the haunting effect. This is a masterpiece in every way.
