That June Poem by Jasmine Thompson

That June

On that June night, the one I can’t seem to forget.
Looking deeply into your deep brown eye.
I saw without a doubt that we were legit.
You pulled me close, I breathed a sigh.

Oh how the months have flown since that June
When you first told me you loved me
Now our love has blossomed into a new
It seem just yesterday that we could see

That we would be forever together
No matter what wanted us apart
Because we knew that onto forever
Only you could love and cherish my heart

Now I say onto you, with my love
That you survive as my one from above.
