That Little Girl Poem by Jesenia Castellanos

That Little Girl

Rating: 4.5

She's hard headed and always been stubborn, loved hard but had noone love her. Grew up fast with a heart that grew up faster seen her mother get beat and her father embarrassed her. Struggle came with her fears, and tears came with her pain. Some how that little girl remained sane, medication wasn't the answer neither was help she looked at the world and began to analyze for her self, maybe her pride became an obstacle in her life maybe that same little girl grew up with fears that she fights at night. So her nights become short and her dreams become dark. Maybe that little girl is still scarred and you came along and the little girl ran off because she found the one that set her fears loose and healed her scars don't be scared to love the girl that seems hard because that same girl is the girl that will give you her heart if you needed it and will save you before she saves herself.
