That's What Life Is About Poem by Francis Duggan

That's What Life Is About

Since true love is a feeling that has to be felt by two
Why bother to pine for one who does not love you
The loveache of unrequited love does live on for years
And those who have known it have often shed tears
If the one you love has left you in life you move on
Why grieve for the one who out of your life has gone
If that person did love you that person with you would stay
The now is what matters forget yesterday
The ways of love never easy as life is that way
And no use crying over spilt milk as some like to say
For one to overcome loveache is easier said than done
And since love works out well for some but not for everyone
The one you love who does not love you in return you must live without
So get on with living that's what life is about.
