That's Where I Got The Phrase Poem by Terence George Craddock

That's Where I Got The Phrase

Rating: 4.9

lines
flying
into the mind

eureka moments

star busts
not caught
on cobwebs

where did
you get
that line

glow worm lights

sinister bioluminescent
coldlight purpose
to catch sandflies mosquitoes

caught
on long strand
flow

glowworm fishing lines

each line
small silk beads
saliva pearls

sticky words
numbing
created to catch

stray
prey flying
by let

my green bioluminescent

light shining
in the night
be your moon

shining through kiwi

limestone cave
not woodland forest
trees come marvel

at starlight
in my day
filled night

'oh that's
where i got
the phrase,

i could have known

some
of your poems
are ingrained

in my mind
without me even
knowing that'
