Stephen Cahill Furlong (23 August 1992 / Holles Street, Dublin, Republic of Ireland)
I’m diving back-first down an everlasting abyss,
And all there is to save me is your loving kiss.
Only when it’s too late I realise you’re the one I miss;
Even by the mere glance from you, I’m in a state of bliss,
But without you, I see the inferno and hear demons hiss.
This isn’t all I can feel from your absence, only the gist.
Thinking of you makes my head spin like a disk
‘Cause revealing how I feel about you is too big a risk.
Every time you spoke to me, my heart was in a twist;
You’re the one girl I have on my life’s wish-list.
The notion of you with another has me clenching my fist
And believing that I am lost in even the foggiest mist.
There is no fall that has ever been as scary as this
Because not having you in my arms is my abyss.
