The Act Poem by Sadiqullah Khan

The Act

Rating: 2.5

It had the entire semblance
Of abundant dreams
It had all the pains
Of doing it
It was like wild fire
It was like cold water
It desperately avoided
To end in nothingness
To death
The life exhausted itself
To suck the seeds
Its consummate energy with pleasure
Was ultimate
