The Act Poem by Maureen Alikor

The Act

Let prophets prophesy,
let preachers preach
let all the teachers teach

let sailors sail
let workers work
let the flies fly

let me be me
let you remain you
let the earth pass on

while the heaven remain
as we await the King
if you do nothing
the words won't be
