The Adventure

An adventure awaits us
our future waits to be written
A brand-new vessel took sail
from the moment i lifted your veil

We trusted the winds taking us where we need to go
A storm, like a shadow, was there to follow
The waves pulled and grabbed
Swallowing you deep inside the abyss

I dove in to save you
Violently, with every stroke I searched
the abyss hid you to never be found
Hope is what's keeping me to drown

The more I searched
the more I sank
Pain pulls me deeper into the abyss
knowing there's a future were going to miss

Dressed in white
I saw you above the water
You help me as i ascend
, as well as, help my heart amend

As I take a breath of air
I no longer feel the despair
until you were no where to be found
but if it wasn't for you i would have drowned

A moment of clarity
You were in the heavens
For i made it back to land
directed by your guiding hand
