The Afterlife Poem by Stephen Mcbride

The Afterlife

A life we do not see,
Nor do we know,
Once our time is up,
Where will we go?
That is the question,
We all want to know.
If we're bad,
Will we suffer eternity in pain?
If we are good, will our spirit live on again?
We will just have to put our faith in the lord's name.
We may never understand,
Or maybe we're all under his command.
Until that day,
We can only hope and pray.
What else can we do or say?
We will never know,
Until that day.
