The Aftermath Of A Confession Poem by Alexander Foald

The Aftermath Of A Confession

Something I must tell her
And this mouth won’t say anything reckless
I have so much hope of this situation
Finally, I’ve got bravery behind my back

She’s listening to all my words
While watching me fight my nervousness
I try to make everything loud and clear, but
Somehow I feel I’ve told it in a wrong way

The stars can say I’m a nerve wracking guy
For losing my temper and patience over a simple thing
But this love can suck the whole time I’ve been living in
Unless I can do something about it, I’ll never be able to walk away

Just for a moment, far deep in my racing heart
I feel so relieved better than anytime I knew
I raise my face and put my eyes on her
Something looks different now I’m pulling all together

The aftermath of a confession
Still got my break but the wound is thoughtful
For long I’ve been waiting and I have nothing to lose
My wonder is now gone, along with her leaving smile

“The aftermath of a confession Still got my break but the wound is thoughtful For long I’ve been waiting and I have nothing to lose My wonder is now gone, along with her leaving smile.” The aftermath of a confession sounds like the aftermath of your relation.
