The Agony Of Words

bismillah!
don’t run away my alphabet,
don’t!
my abc
my xyz
come! come!
o come my alpha
my omega!
colour of the rainbow
rhythm of wings beating
cry of the lustful butterfly
come to me o ships sunk in the sunset!
run to me o shadows in the night light!
my abc my xyz
my muse
my torturer
my heaven my hell
come to me, come!
o words o words o words
stab me!
burn me!
dance with me in the sweat of agony!
la ilaha illa ‘llah
la ilaha illa ‘llah
om mane padme hum
o words
o words
o words
o christ!

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
