The Angel In You Poem by Anne Jones

I watch the sun set
The sky filled with vibrant colors
Orange, red, blue and yellow
I stare up at the sky and I ask for you to come
I see the rays of the sun spread across the sky
It opens the sky for the angles to watch

I arrive wanting to talk to you
To send wishes on your special day
Feeling lost and not knowing what to say when I arrive
It was if I was afraid to face you

The challanges that have looked me in the face have been difficult
Leaving me lost and not knowing which way to go
I look at the sun setting before my eyes
Looking for answers

Afraid to face the truth
I turn the engine back on
I say goodbye
You are my angel mom and I miss you so
Please guide me to the path that I am to travel
I still look for your love and guidence each and every day
I never meant to leave with out talking to you
I just couldn't face you feeling this sadness in my heart
You have only wished for happiness in me
But right now that is hard for me to see

Let the rays of the sun let you shine through
For each and every day I do love you
Thank you for being my angel
