The Autumn Leaves May Sail Away

Rating: 5.0

The Autumn leaves may sail away
Upon the wind that blows,
But love for all we knew and lost
Lives on and never goes.

Brilliant. A sweet distillation of images.

The roots of the trees may be strong, but the leaves are always frail..they are easily tempted and removed by the wind, and carried far away..Each of them reminds the humans that they once belonged to a tree, like a heart that belonged to a lost lover...there will always be an indissoluble connection.10 +++
