The Beach Poem by richard belis

I saw you run i didn't turn,
I stayed to see you,
you running with your hair flying,
your smile wide, your feet so fast,
When you reach me we get closer,
Your sweaty, and tired, but we dont care,
We kiss and look into each others eyes,
our lips are locked so tight I can't let go,
we're as close as one can get,
after we're done we lay,
we hold hands and look,
up to the sky so far and high,
we look at the stars but i'm not,
i'm looking into my sky....
your eyes are the sky,
with all the stars and the whole universe is in you,
I look into your eyes and I see the light,
I feel so warm on the beach,
the sand so warm,
and you on top of me,
we love and love and I see the sky once again,
not the one in the sky but the one in your eyes.
