The Beach Poem by Hannatu Pqrs

The Beach

There is the sound of laughter,
Everywhere.
Here and there are children playing,
Building sand castles
Upon which they trample.
Up in the sky,
Birds are chirping
Not missing in the fun.
Time and again,
The waves splash against the rocks.
Often, they bring ashore their offerings
To land
Which loners, walking the edges,
Occasionally pick up.
The sea breeze carries the smell of salt.
The setting is apt.
When a heart is heavy,
And the time is right,
One tells it all,
At the beach.
