The Beasts Poem by Abdul Wahab

The Beasts

Rating: 5.0

I bloom into a flower
Of my own to give delight
To the wind

I share my hopes and dreams
With the sun rays and moon

I whisper on the ears of rain
‘Come and play with me"
I too get immense pleasure
To have role to play
In the divine creation

But the petals of mine are torn
Wings of the wishes
Crushed down on the soil
By the hands of lunatics

Oh! Butterflies and bees
Do not cry
I shall come and play with you
In your dreams
But never take rest until
The beasts are taken into justice.
