The Beginning, The End Poem by Shelby Jasmin Estrada

The Beginning, The End

Rating: 2.7

It all starts the same
He loves me, he loves me not
Daisy by daisy, torn apart
Girls kissing the boys on the cheeks, by the swings
Innocent Valentines cards, with sweet 'will you be mine? '
From the beginning girls are led to believe they are beautiful
It all ends the same
He loves me, he loved me
Rose by rose, placed on the caskets
Women and children crying, on the shoulders of their love
Forgiving gestures of I am sorry
It starts the same, ends the same
