The Blessed Resistance Poem by Devon Tremblay

The Blessed Resistance

Beg on your Knee's, Come on baby please,
You're the Cure to my Disease!

Hear Me God, Is this what you want?
Let The Fires Reign down
Drown out all our Dying sounds
The Vultures are afloat...
Scavenging, Ravenous little birds picking the Flesh off our Bones
Here we are now, Lead us Home, Lead us Home

As I lessen the Distance
I bring more Soldiers to the Resistance
I continue Fighting, I continue Living
I will persevere this suffering

Children Pick up Arms!
Father, Send us your Blessings!
No objective too Hard
For the Lord Almighty!

Time and Time again
I live within my sin
I let this Darkness creep in
Just like an unnoticeable disease
It causes me to Rot, To decay
Please don't let me waste away
I am so lost and so afraid
Please lord show me the way

And With broken hearts and blind eyes,
We will find truth in empty lies...
