The Blessed Road Poem by Kathryn Thomas

The Blessed Road

This road I’m going down
Has many twists and turns
Hills and valleys
Cracks and crevasses
Each love I’ve lost
Has led me to you
Each jerk I’ve met
That has broken my heart
Have been like the Northern Stars
Leading me to you
To your arms
To your wondrous love
That has encased me
With a shield
All because of this road
My life is glorious
All I can say
Is a line
From a song:
God bless the broken road
That led me straight to you
Thank you
Blessed Road
That showed me this love

I really enjoyed that 'positive out of negative' account.
