Inside you beats a tiny heart.
In time a brand new life soon will start.
Oh little wonder and blessing,
Who will you be?
The mystery will keep all guessing.

Oh little mother of future child,
Times will be sweet.
Times will be wild.
Tender moments will come.
Angry moments there may be some.
Cherish the gift that a child does bring,
Like the bright sunshine
That comes with much awaited spring.

Little fingers will grasp your hand
and through the years together you will stand.
Walking in times joy and sorrow,
oh little child you give hope for tomorrow.

See the loving smile upon a baby's face
looking at you with unjudged grace.
Total trust this child has in you,
In addition, you will protect them whatever you do.

Oh little mother
What wonder does await,
In anticipation of their arrival date.
What will they know?
How will they grow?
Will I be ready?
It does not matter because you love them so!

Oh little family has grown buy one,
a little bundle of joy has finally come.
Oh, see the smile on their face,
You are now welcome to the human race!
