The Blessing Day Poem by Arfa Iris

The Blessing Day

Rating: 5.0

i was eagerly waiting for this day,
when with pride, i could say.
i have no drug to depend upon.
now all my pains are bygone.

i fought the disease in me,
and many helped in setting me free.
thanks to Almighty, i made through it.
now here i am, sound and fit.

though it wasn't a cake walk.
i toiled in pain round the clock.
it made me cry fretfully,
but i never gave up easily.

now here is the blessing the day,
now with pride i say.
i have no drug to depend upon.
now all sufferings are bygone.
