The Blood Of Strawberries Poem by Samuel Stuart Pennell

The Blood Of Strawberries

</>Springtime rolls across the land like an ocean
Sanguine red strawberries drip sweetness

I bite into them and drink their sugary, sticky, sweet red blood

Like vampires, we prey on fruit,
We stride across the land,
drinking the blood of strawberries
