The Bonds Of Eternity Poem by Kailee Williams

The Bonds Of Eternity

I cannot die, yet I also cannot live.
Never again will I see the sunlight,
feel the warmth it has to give.
My cold black heart cries out in pain
With each innocent life I'm forced to drain.
Time goes by, while I'm standing still.
Watching the passing centuries makes me ill.
I am forever young, yet forever alone;
Forever wandering with no real home.
This one lesson I've learned from each bell's chime:
Forever is a very long time.
