The Bravura Of Her Wan Smile Poem by Ananta Madhavan

The Bravura Of Her Wan Smile

'Suppose', he said to his image of her;
'Suppose I told you,
What I feel is not Love,
Would that help me erase
The bravura of your wan smile
And the spark from your caged eyes? '

'If I could say this,
Do you not know I feel
Something which may be more
Than what the world calls Love -
But a Spark that I trapped in my eyes? '
