By offering boiled cut pieces of betel nut, betel leaf,
...marriage invitation and inviting kindly for eating dinner,
while trying to bind relationship with unified mind,
...if both minds are not synchronising, it is a waste! 1
Leaving the grammar 'this is this' rule,
...saying this is the way of literature,
the season of making of modern poems as they like,
...nature affirms the rain of acceptance! 2
The thoughts of modern poems made
...as cheap as china products spreading as real,
the burning of one aggregate of fire
...in front of our eyes on the area of earth! 3

களிப்பாக்கு வெற்றிலை கல்யாண ஓலை
அளித்து விருந்துண்ண அன்பாய் - விளித்து
ஒருமனதாய் செய்யும் உறவின் இணைப்பில்
இருமனம் ஒன்றிலையேல் வீண்.1
இப்படித்தா னென்னும் இலக்கணம் விட்டெறிந்து
இப்படியு மென்றே இலக்கியம் - எப்படி
எப்படியோ செய்யும் புதுக்கவிதைக் காலத்தின்
ஒப்புதலாய் பெய்யும் மழை.2
சைனா பொருள்போலச் சற்றே மலிவாகச்
செய்யும் புதுக்கவிதைச் சிந்தனைகள் - மெய்யாய்ப்
பரப்பிஇப் பூமிப் பரப்பின்மேல் கண்முன்
