The C.S.T. Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

The C.S.T.

I dedicate my poem this time
To the Men and Women of the C.S.T.,
Who put their lives on the line,
For the continued safety of you and me.

These Jewish Folk face situations grave,
To protect the Jewish Community,
At Synagogues and Functions they are brave,
As they watch for our enemies continually.

What is the C.S.T. you ask?
Why do they do this awesome task?
Volunteers all, Trained to protect,
Members of the Community Security Trust.

What do they do, these Folk so true,
Believing in their Duty to Protect you?
At Places of Worship, Halls and Venues,
They give of their time to protect fellow Jews.

They guard and watch, attentive to all
That happens around them, whether large or small,
Nothing escapes their eager eyes,
Lest anything catches them by surprise.
