The Cashier Romance Poem by Simon Norlin

The Cashier Romance

Every morning I wake up early
To see you in the shop
Whenever I see you
You make my heart hop

You are my little cashier girl
I do not know anything about your world
I have only met you a handful of times
Our names in my head always rimes

How can one fall in love with something we do not know
Or is it the idea of love that makes us glow
Your appearance have hit me like a blow
And you make my blood rush and flow

You are my little cashier girl
I do not know anything about your world
I have only met you a handful of times
Our names in my head always rimes

Let us meet again tomorrow
In the shop around the corner
I give you a smile that you can borrow
And you give it back the day after

That is the dance
Between customer and cashier
The dance of love
And maybe one day we can do it a little hastier
