The Cat Poem by Arynn D. Akins

The Cat

Rating: 4.4

The Cat, is only given nine lives to use wisely, and that he did not.
The Cat, he creeps and he crawls in search of the curious.
The Cat, he sneaks and he sprawls and sleeps with the mysterious.
The Cat, slept with another Cat's lady
and told the whole alley the tale.
The Cat, dissed his former producer, with only bad words for sale.
The Cat, got five in the chest and still wouldn't rest;
Cuz "all eyez on he."
The Cat, got four more and couldn't take it anymore.
The Cat, 5+4 equals nine lives, at the age of 25, oh how time flies.
