The City To Come Poem by T. Alfred Norman

The City To Come

Door opens and never closes
Light eternal shining,
No night to sleep through, to long for you
Through you're name, Morning Star rising
No more struggles no more crying.

Golden streets and shores of choices
Bare feet, rejoice, righteous judgment
Spirits heed the call of voices,
Eagles wings, Truth upholding,

'Kingdom Come' advance those words
Ushered in on the songs of birds
Your path awaits, a beaming lake
Brimming with baptismal hymns

Renewal, Releasing this world without Reason
Its path awaits, and time forever fades
The mind relapses to shades of grey as
Ages and pages foretold this day.
