The Closed Mind Poem by Laurence Overmire

The Closed Mind

Rating: 5.0

No battering ram can penetrate
Walls that have no logic
Make no sense to common
Knowledge.

Why waste the energy
In siege against a fortress
Hot oil and arrows
When the war is not worth winning?

I like this lawrence, the questioning is the beginning, but sometimes human nature takes the reins and there's nothing you can do! Very nice work, . 10 from smiling Tai
