The Clown Poem by Corey Fauchon

The Clown

The lights are down
The eyes are on the clown
All the faces are blank
No-one in the bank

They came to observe him
But no-one even thanked him
He never got the the right attention
They said he wasn't worth detention

Everyting started to fall
No-one even sarted to call
The clown was ready to jump
He landed with an almighty thump

No-one Even started to cry
All their eyes stayed dry
The day before they said he was fired
They said they were all sick and tired
