The Clown Poem by Princess Kathleene Gabunales

The Clown

twirling hair sudden thinking
remember the last time it happened
nothing has changed
bad weather did for it rains
flower blooms not in the mountains
but in the sky
when the sun rises
who can tell-you never did
walls are falling down
you tried to put on a mask
whenever you're tired
for so many times you try to cry
no smiles can be put on a face
it isn't that easy to fake happiness
when loneliness is like death
take a walk outside
coldness of the wind comes with hesitation
not only that...there's frustration
scream and shout
not for the wrongs and events in the past
but for what is being set apart
i know how you smile
embrace sadness and clap hands.
