The Clown By Rosemary D.



Everyone laughs at me -
The eternal clown!
They laugh because they are bound
by things they don’t understand.
A buffoon of understatement
A loon of entertainment
that’s me, that’s me!
I laugh at you too
You think my insanity
won’t see your profanity but
I do, I do!
So humour me
and tell me I’m happy.
