The Color Of A Man Poem by Brian Kilpatrick

The Color Of A Man

Oh where do we come from
That we judge a man by his color
What heritage what rock
Did we crawl out of
What seed spawned us
One God
Or many Gods
One for each color
Or maybe just one for one another
Oh colors what do you call them
When they are worn upon a man
Do you have more admiration
For the color of a bird
Than the color of a man
