The Coming Of Summer Poem by Thoisquare Tongbram

The Coming Of Summer

The coming of summer.
The farewell to winter.
I woke up this day to find
The chilling air gone
That weather numbs our mind,
We lay senseless to our morn' alarm tone.

The coming of summer.
Spring's here, winter's over.
I went out this morning to see
The overcoats and jackets gone
The sun above, brightly it shone.
All in T-shirts, shirts and me.

The coming of summer.
A new season to wonder
'Bout fresh starts or even fonder.
The winds of change is here
For those brave enough to bear
The hard days of the ice-cold sneers.

And just like the coming of summer
Let my summer come in a spring's attire.
Pray that it blows away my worries
Hope that it rejuvinates my dreams
Then I can go once again with ease
This life's dreaded realms,
The uncertainities in every step,
The quest to the heights and depths
Be a healthy surprise to my well being.
Just like the coming of summer.
