The Conditional Really Poem by Bernardo Adantor

The Conditional Really

I laugh but im really crying
I sleep but my minds eyes really couldnt be more awake
I hate but its love that really fills my veins
I speak to you but i am really yelling at your soul
I frown upon the strong but its the weak that i realy hate
I push you down but i am really trying t teach you how to stand strong
I call you friend but i really like keeping my enemies close
wait..
what dont you understand?
touch my heart..
can you feel it?

i really feel like i can save the world but maybe it's going without changing anything that im afraid of.
i really fear...fear but is it beacuse the light of greatness sometimes blinds me?

i really think that i try,
One dat maybe just one day
i will really really just DO.
