When all is quiet and peace prevails,
When everyone fights poverty and hostility fails,
When governments stockpile weapons to ensure and provide peace,
When the tension and nationalism starts to rapidly increase,
When people look to their neighbors for something to breed blame,
When the instinctive spark in humanity turns into a blazing flame,
When war breaks out making chaos the noxious norm,
When the flame rapidly spreads into an uncontrollable firestorm,
When the fighting catalysts to its premier peak,
When it consumes both the strong and the weak,
When blood runs like streams and corpses redecorate the lethal land,
When one side is victorious and the other makes its final stand,
And all is quiet when peace prevails...
