الفارس الشجاع (THE COURAGEOUS KNIGHT) Poem by MOHAMMAD SKATI

Virtually we are not in the Renaissance Age, Boldly we are not in the Victorian Age, Greatly we are not in the Arabian Nights' Age, Wonderfully we are not in Byzantine Age, Regretfully we are not in any of these ages, but We are in the age of the paper hero or paper knight, We are in the age of the shameful heroes, We are in the age of the unknown champions or knights, We are in the age that lacks courage and heroism, We are in the age that lacks real and known heroes, We are in the age that lacks people like Hercules, We are in the age that lacks knights like Antara, We have heroes whose work is on to boost themselves only, We have champions and knights who are only the heroes of Themselves,
Our times have changed and our age has changed, We have only shadows or shapes look like knights, but We lack the image of the real knight in our time. Our current knights are only in shapes and not in Reality.
The courageous knight is only in the pretty novels And the stories of the old people and the pretty kids. They are the days that beget these people and we don't Have them and see them anymore even in our novels or stories.
Our days are different from the different days of The real knights whom we witnessed long time ago. Our days beget only pretty shapes and nice images, but the Real and courageous knights were only in the past. في الواقع لسنا نحن في عصر النهضة و بجرأة لسنا نحن في العصر الفيكتوري و بشكل كبير جدا لسنا نحن في عصر الف ليلة و ليلة و اعجابا لسنا نحن في العصر البيزنطي و للأسف لسنا نحن في من هذه العصور بل فنحن في عصر البطل الصوري او الفارس الورقي اننا في عصر الابطال الذين يخحل منهم المرء اننا في عصر الابطال او الفرسان المجهولين اننا في عصر ينقصه الشجاعة و البطولة اننا في عصر ينقصه اناس كهرقل اننا في عصر ينقصه اناس حقيقيون و معروفون اننا في عصر ينقصه فرسان مثل عنتر لدينا ابطال جل عملهم هو لتبيان قوتهم فقط لدينا ابطال و فرسان هم ابطال انفسهم فقط لقد تغيرت ازماننا و تغير عصرنا فنحن لدينا فقط ظلالا او اشكالا تبدو كالفرسان و لكن ينقصنا في زماننا صورة الفارس الحقيقية الفرسان الموجودون الآن هم فقط في الشكل و ليسوا في الواقع ان الفارس الشجاع موجود فقط في الروايات الجميلة و قصص كبار السن و الاولاد الحلوين انها الايام التي تولد هؤلاء الفرسان و ليسوا عندنا او نراهم حتى في رواياتنا او قصصنا ان ايامنا مختلفة عما كانت عليه من ايام الابطال الحقيقيون الذين شهدناهم منذ وقت طويل تلد ايامنا فقط اشكالا جميلة و صورا جميلة و لكن الفرسان الشجعان و الحقيقيون كانوا موجودين فقط فيما مضى.
