The Croak

I am but a frog,
creaking in a bog,
echoing its hollow tones,
having my ghosts dance,
making the willows prance,
it fades in my marsh, my home.

alone in this bog,
another croak another day,
whispering ghosts,
speak up to me! .
hollow as my words,
hollow as my thoughts,
take yourself away from me! .

And home we brought you shoulder-high.
