There is a you
whom sadly
you don’t know,
hidden deep,
beneath dark armoured secrets
you prefer.

My wish
for you
is that
one day
you take the plunge
into the purity
and uncertainty
of freedom
and let him out,

for I know
you have the strength
and courage
to handle
the repercussions,

but if you choose
to keep him
imprisoned,
I wish for you
smiles and peace
and true acceptance
of the path
you have chosen

and I know
you know
I mean that
with all my heart.
