The Cruious Traveler Poem by Alex Charming

The Cruious Traveler

Once upon a time there was a Curious Traveller,
He searched far and wide but couldn’t go anywhere better
He looked long and hard for his one true love
But all he got was a petty shove,
Aside from the hipsters, gangsters and swaggers
Because no, this boy didn’t have the moves like Jagger.
For this boy was very metal, searching for the Gun to his Trigger
He wasn’t the typical metal, the way he acted and looked
He was a good boy, in the his personality and all, took
The world, he grabbed it forcefully
He always knew what he wanted to be.
He wanted to change the way the world saw
He always wanted us to be something more
He wanted us to see us for who we are
Not for who we try to be.
He always said that there was more for us to see
The Curious Traveler didn’t physically travel.
He never actually left his house.
He set aside all his emotions and ambitions
To save the world from the corruption of fame.

He wanted to know what made the world tick
He wanted to know what made people sick
He wanted to experience the joy of love
But he was too busy saving the world from up above.
He wanted to witness the world change
And never want to be under the blame

The Curious Traveler wanted just one wish
For the woman he’d go home to kiss
Every night for the rest of his life.
But his design held him back
He had too much pride.
Because like mentioned before
He didn’t look like the metal decor.
He didn’t want to dress,
Like a big ol’ mess.
Being very Metal and clean cut
Isn’t something that people come by often
People usually refer to him as a nut
He didn’t mind to the people what weren’t kind
Because he was who he was and who he wanted to be

The Curious Traveler was very young
Too young to be thinking of changing the world
Too young to save the girl
But he didn’t care, because he was who we was
And did what he wanted to do
All because the world was his pearl
He took the world by storm

There once was a Curious Traveler
Who never actually traveled the world.
This Curious Traveler, traveled curiously,
To save this one special girl
They were made for each other, their love was pure
He was very Metal, and she was his cure
For music would never break them apart
This Curious Traveler had no name
But being known for it wasn’t part of his game.
He wanted to save the world from what it has become
But supporters? He had none.
This curious traveler died alone,
Because no one was kind enough to share a home,
Not even the girl he once loved.
He now looks down on her, from up above.

The curious travelers legacy still lives on
Though he may be gone
He changed the world without knowing
Because of the love and consideration he was showing.
He may have passed long ago, but he’s change will forever show.
Now this is the end of my tale.
I do hope it wasn’t a fail.
