The Current Of Spring Poem by Tom Squires

The Current Of Spring

The green house stands next door
Among accumulated snow
Opaque and granular
With increase in temperature
Early march is obedient
To crumbling and melting
The white glory
Never loses anything
In our eyes
Just fatigue at last
And this day our heart beats
For the coming beauty
In scent of flowers
And far off rain
This great beauty
Takes our breath and returns
Like the dawn of a new age
Shining on the face of all mankind

Hi Tom loved the way this reads, like coming out of winter into spring and new life begins all over again. Nicely done Annette
