The Dacoit Turns Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Dacoit Turns

Any gesture of smile
Can come close for a while
It should be taken as normal behavior
A step towards better relation

Little intentional touch
Sends shiver as such
Whole body faces current's flow
As if going to receive blow

With little exchange
It is smoothly managed
The gentle whisper
Makes it sweeter

World comes near
And offers
Kindest gift of all'
To make complete shift

The thief turns gentleman
The dacoit turns nobleman
Love wins first round
When it gains ground

See the result
When relation is built
Where is place for insult?
When it becomes love cult
