Your shadow is lost in the dark of night
once again,
on the beach,
intoxicated by the islands warm air;
I hear,
your voice,
so beautiful and hypnotic,
it takes me places I never knew
existed,
both inside and out of my mind.
It beckons me
to go to the waves,
crashing upon the sandy shore.
My heart races,
my eyes close...
The dark waves lap at my feet,
then swallow me up,
my throat,
my lungs are filled,
with the dark ocean water...
Drifting into an eternal darkness,
your face fills my mind
while I slowly drift deeper,
into the arms of the Dark Ocean Water.
