The Day Before Tomorrow Poem by Tony Cox

The Day Before Tomorrow

One cold night when the moon was full.

The after dark music was in rhythmic harmony as a seasoned symphony.

My mind drifting like a message in a bottle into a dimension of human fantasy.

While sitting at a table surrounded by interesting souls.

All created from the dust God chose yet each contributing to this night in their own distinctive manner.

Witnessing the moon making the journey across the great canvas as if angels are pulling a lamp thru heaven.

This world continues to age thru the endless wave of time.

My world is void and barren without the replenishing love of your life force.

The world could fade from existence, as we know it.

But as long as I have you: my life, is eternal.

On this day before tomorrow.
