The De-Juicer Poem by Akhtar Jawad

The De-Juicer

Rating: 5.0

A de-juicer I am,
I de-juice the fruits,
But I don’t know why,
The juice extracted,
Is a little bitter,
Always it’s so.

One day,
While de-juicing tangerines,
The power was gone,
I thought some core,
Was yet to de-juice,
But on that day,
The juice was sweet,
No bitterness at all!

On that day,
I learnt a secret of life,
Excess of any act,
May be good or bad,
Reduces the sweetness,
Ends in bitterness!

You're a very perceptive person, most people would not have noticed, Food prepared in its most natural way is the best way.

Life is an open school. If you have an open mind you can learn new things every day. Sometimes, it is so sudden, substantial and philosophical. I share your views and thank you for the same, Akhtar Jawad Sahab. I would like to quote a few lovely lines: On that day / I learnt a secret of life / Excess of any act / Reduces the sweetness,
